ORAL PRESENTATIONS

Presenting Author Checklist

In Person Presentation Instructions and Guidelines

General presentation timings are as below, but please search the schedule to confirm your presentation length. All presentation times on the schedule allow for 5 minutes of Q&A, so if your presentation time slot is 20 minutes this means your presentation should last 15 minutes + 5 min Q&A.

General Timings
Invited Speaker Presentation –  20 minutes* + 5 min Q&A
Submitted Abstract Presentation –  15 minutes + 5 min Q&A

*Unless different timing has been agreed with your session organizer.

Please have your presentation with you on the day (USB, cloud storage etc) and make sure it is uploaded on the computer in your session room in the coffee or lunch break immediately prior to your session.

There will be AV technicians on hand to assist you.

PowerPoint slides should use 4:3 aspect ratio. Please do not use widescreen 16:9.

Virtual Presentation Instructions and Guidelines

Virtual presentations will be live streamed during your session. You will join the session via Zoom to answer live Q&A with the live and virtual audience. Your presentation will not be able to view in Whova before the meeting starts.

CRYO2022’s AV technicians strongly recommend uploading a pre-recorded video presentation to livestream during your session to safeguard against any IT issues at your end. The sessions are full and you will not be able to deliver your presentation at a later time. Video presentations are due July 11, 2022.

If you choose not to upload a video presentation then you can present live during your Zoom session but  this is not recommended.

VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ THIS CAREFULLY!

All virtual presenters will receive a unique panelist link to your relevant Zoom session so you can answer live Q&A.

You will receive this email direct from Zoom. Please check your spam/junk inbox regularly in the week before the meeting so you do not miss it.

If you have not received your unique panelist link email before Friday July 15th please urgently contact us stating your name, session, and presentation title.

If you lose your link email or have otherwise not received it you must contact us urgently. We may not see your email in time if you email us shortly before your session is due to start.

PLEASE NOTE YOU CANNOT JOIN YOUR ZOOM SESSION USING THE GENERAL LINK IN WHOVA AS THIS IS A WEBINAR VIEWING LINK ONLY.
